YOOO-HOOO!

I’m back!

We have a new granddaughter born on a Sunday morning in March.  She has my middle name as her middle name and she isn’t named Daisy (I think I may have mentioned that Son wanted to name a son, Beau, from the Dukes of Hazard so a girl would be Daisy).

IMG_0066 She looks so much like her older Sister!

During the 48 hours that they were in the hospital, I was there 3x to visit!  We went down 1st thing Sunday morning (yes, we missed church but I did call our elder mentor to let him know so he wouldn’t have to call later-He and his wife are dear friends-2nd parents to our college girl).   Took the in-laws down on Monday afternoon and we went back down in the evening.  They were only 15 minutes away.  It takes over 25 min. to get to their house.

Had College Girl home briefly so that she could go to walk-in as she was sick with a horrible sore throat, headache, etc.

The following Sunday, Son and family were here for supper!IMG_0103 Riding the horse together.

As you may remember, Orangeguy sold both of his motorcycles last year.  This is what he bought-IMG_0051 Thought I was going to have to change his name to Greenguy as I thought this was his new obsession…but no, he’s now talking buying a used KTM like he sold last May!  He just needs something to trail ride not race-or so he tells me.  We will see where this all goes!

The last Sunday in March, there was a party/shower for our newest granddaughter and her 6 week old cousin (also a girl).  I had made a quilt for DGD#3-IMG_5305 IMG_0062

I made a quilt for the cousin-IMG_0149 all left over fabric including the toile.

Here are some pictures from the shower:

The grandkids also had their Spring Concert (though it really felt more like winter out!). IMG_0131 singing!IMG_0126 IMG_0143 Dressed so pretty!

IMG_0140 Mom missed most of the program due to eating and pooping!

I had the older 2 kids for a whole day and DGD#2 for half a day the following week.  I love when I can have just 1 of the kids and enjoy them.  I think that they love having ALL of my attention!
